Steel structure platform is also called working platform. Modern steel platform has various structural forms and functions. The biggest feature of its structure is the fully assembled structure, which is flexible in design and widely used in modern storage.
An engineering structure made of steel is usually composed of beams, columns, plates and other components made of steel and steel plates; each part is connected by welds, screws or rivets.
Today we will talk to you about the precautions for steel platform installation.
1. Load limit signs should be set on the unloading platform.
2. The shelving point and upper tie point of the steel platform need to be located on the building, and shall not be set on construction facilities such as scaffolding, and the support system shall not be connected to the scaffolding.
3. The concrete beams and slabs at the shelving point of the steel platform should be embedded and connected with the bolts of the platform.
4. The horizontal angle between the wire rope and the platform should be 45 to 60 degrees.
5. The tensile strength of the beams and columns at the upper tie points of the steel platform should be verified to ensure the safety of the building and the platform.
6. The steel platform can be hoisted by a tower crane. When lifting the platform, a clip should be used, and the hook should not be directly hooked on the platform ring.
7. When installing the steel platform, the wire rope should be hung with a special hook. When other methods are used, there should be no less than 3 clips. The sharp corners of the building should be padded with soft pads around the wire rope, and the outer opening of the steel platform should be slightly higher than the inner side.
8. Fixed railings need to be set on the left and right sides of the steel platform and a dense safety net should be hung.
9. When setting up the scaffolding, the position of the steel platform should be reserved, and the vertical poles of the scaffolding on both sides of the platform should be strengthened with double vertical poles.
