一、Internal Combustion Forklift:
Internal combustion engine is used as the power source, and common fuels are diesel, gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Internal combustion forklift trucks are suitable for outdoor operation or occasions requiring higher power support, with a carrying capacity of about 3 to 6 tons. Its advantages are strong power and wide operating range.
- Diesel Forklift Trucks:
Higher power, suitable for high load working environment, especially for working outdoors and on rough ground. The load capacity is about 1 to 4.8 tons.
- Gasoline forklift:
Suitable for lighter loads, lower fuel consumption and noise compared to diesel forklift. The load capacity is about 0.5~4.5 tons.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Forklift Trucks: Stronger power, lower fuel cost, suitable for indoor and outdoor work, and less emission.
二、Electric Forklift:
Battery as power source, driven by electric motor. Electric forklift trucks have the advantages of low noise, no exhaust emission, etc. They are suitable for indoor working environment, especially for places with strict environmental requirements. The load capacity is about 1 to 5 tons. Compared to internal combustion engine power units, battery power units have the advantages of less noise, fewer emissions, and easier maintenance, so they are being used more and more widely.
- Lead-acid battery forklift:
Traditional electric forklift, lower cost, but shorter battery life.
- Lithium Battery Forklift Trucks:
Lithium batteries are used to provide longer service life, faster charging speed and better energy efficiency, but at a relatively higher cost.
- Hybrid Forklift:
Combines the advantages of internal combustion engines and electric motors to provide both strong power and energy-efficient operation using electricity. They are suitable for work environments that require both long operating hours and reduced emissions.
