Light duty storage shelves are commonly used for placing lightweight items in our daily lives, but many people encounter the same problem after purchasing light duty storage shelves. How should light duty storage shelves be installed?
Light duty storage shelves are a type of storage shelves, belonging to the shelf type. Light duty shelves generally have a load-bearing capacity of 100-150kg and are the smallest storage shelves except for angle steel shelves. Before learning to install light duty storage shelves, we first need to understand the structure of light duty storage shelves:
Shelf column:
Made of equilateral angle steel with double-sided punching holes, the hole distance is arranged in a straight line at a distance of 50mm, and the column holes are used for hanging laminated boards.
Shelf steel laminates:
Cold-rolled steel plates are used to bend and shape the four sides according to the required size.
A shelf composed of columns and steel laminates connected and fixed by quick snap pins and triangular fixing pieces. After all components of the shelf are processed and formed, they are assembled into finished products through processes such as polishing, acid pickling, phosphating, fully automatic powder electrostatic spraying, and drying. The surface of the finished shelf products produced is smooth and beautiful; The layer board can be adjusted up and down at will, making disassembly and assembly convenient.

After understanding the structure of light duty storage shelves, let’s take a look at their installation steps together.
1. Open the packaging of the shelves and first check whether the products inside the packaging are qualified and whether the product parts are complete. If there is any damage, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for replacement.
2. Erect two columns and install two crossbeams at the bottom. The installation position from the bottom to the ground should be defined according to one’s own needs.
3. Insert the remaining crossbeams in order of the required height according to the above insertion method.
4. After the crossbeam is installed, place the layer plates in the crossbeam card slots in sequence, and directly place the layer plates in the “L” slots of the front and rear crossbeams from bottom to top or from top to bottom.
5. Place the matched laminates onto the “P” beam in sequence and check if each part is properly installed.
Light duty storage shelves are widely used in households, shopping malls, supermarkets, enterprise warehouses, and public institutions, as well as automotive parts warehouses, and pharmaceutical, electronic, and clothing enterprises, to store lighter small items.
