» Types and composition of smart storage racks in cold room storage warehouses

Warehouse racks are needed to store goods in cold room storage. In the past, warehouses used non-automated racks, but now this is different. Many corporate warehouses have begun to use smart storage racks to improve the efficiency of warehouse storage and retrieval of goods. So what kind of cold room smart storage racks are there?

At present, two types of warehouse racks can be automated: radio shuttle racks and stacker racks. The radio shuttle racks are divided into two-way radio shuttle racks, four-way radio shuttle racks, and double-double radio shuttle racks. These types of warehouse smart storage racks can be used in cold room storage, so they are also called cold room smart storage racks.

As we all know, cold room storage is a warehouse used to store fresh food, such as dairy products, aquatic products, meat, medical supplies, and other items that require low-temperature storage. The temperature of cold room storage is generally around -10 to -30 degrees, so the requirements for cold storage racking systems are relatively high, so you need to pay attention to the following matters during use.

1. Assembly structure

The assembled structure is a major feature of cold room storage racks. Cold storage racks are fully assembled structures. Warehouse racks and supporting equipment can be combined at will and can be disassembled and assembled at will.

2. Process technology

For cold storage racking systems, the manufacturing process technology is quite special. Its surface treatment generally adopts polishing, surface rust removal, oil removal, electrostatic powder spraying, and other processing technologies. At the same time, spraying processing can be carried out according to the needs of different customers.

3. Estimated cargo weight

When carrying out transportation work in low-temperature warehouses and freezers, you must first fully estimate the weight of the goods, so that you can quickly find the stress points of the transportation, and do what you can during transportation. When the goods are stacked high or too heavy, more weight is needed. This can avoid muscle injuries or other safety accidents for the staff.

4. Pay attention to personnel safety

Workers must wear gloves when handling heavy objects, metal objects, sharp glass, and other objects on the refrigerated racks of low-temperature warehouses.

5. Pay attention to the safety of cargo handling

When carrying out handling operations in a low-temperature warehouse, attention should be paid to the degree of stress. Reasonable force should be used during the handling process. Aerial throwing and receiving operations are strictly prohibited. At the same time, care should be taken to prevent goods from falling.

6. Count and check goods

Low-temperature warehouses and freezers need to do timely inventory and verification of goods when they arrive at their destination. Low-temperature warehouses and freezers must be protected during transportation, and the goods should be wrapped with protective films and strapped.
