  • What is the rule of storage goods?

When storing materials on the rack, the lightweight is at the top, and the heavyweight is at the bottom. The labels should face outwards. The materials should not exceed the margins of the racks, which will make the racks safer. This is the principle of rack storage:

    1. Store according to type of cargo

The warehouse may have many kinds of materials, one material should be placed in one place, which will help to increase the work efficiency of the loading and uploading.

    2. Store according to the weight of cargo

The materials stored on the storage shelf are light on the top and heavy on the bottom, which is beneficial to the stability of the rack and will not cause tilt or collapse; the operation risk is small and the safety level is high.

    3. Labels facing outward

Labels should be concise and clear, clearly visible, and identifiable at a glance, which is beneficial to work efficiency and quality.

    longspan shelving

When loading the goods on longspan shelving with plastic bins, like length 2000mm, width 500mm, height 2000mm.

    1. Only one box is placed in one position, the labels are all facing the same direction and are convenient for entry and exit, inventory, and management. (The labels on the material boxes correspond to the labels on the shelves one-to-one)

    2. Place the two boxes in a left- and right-hand manner. Each shelf surface has a label, so that the label faces outwards, which is highly visual and convenient for access, inventory, and management. (The labels on the material boxes correspond to the labels on the shelves one-to-one)

    3. Some storage shelves place three or four boxes in a row (vertically), with several labels facing the same direction. This arrangement is not recommended, as it causes labels to pile up in the same direction, making them look messy and visually blurry. It is inconvenient to access materials, and inventory and management efficiency are low.

    4. It is unscientific to store and retrieve materials when there are multiple boxes, which is not conducive to access and operation. Especially in the upper and lower cargo spaces, access is very laborious and the materials behind cannot be seen or reached. It is not conducive to ergonomics and work.
