Drive-in racking system is also known as a corridor racking system. The drive in racking system is designed for the storage of homogenous products. It accommodates a large number of pallets for each SKU. This warehouse racking system arrangement is dense, and the space utilization rate is extremely high, almost twice the pallet rack, but the goods must be less varied and in large quantities, and the goods advanced after out. The total depth of warehouse racks in the area near the wall should be controlled within 6 pallets, and the total depth of warehouse racks in the middle area that can be entered and left on both sides should be controlled within 12 pallets, so as to improve the efficiency and reliability of forklift access (In this kind of racking system, forklift trucks are easy to shake and hit the warehouse racks because of continuous “lifting and hitting” operation).

In addition, this kind of storage racking system is weak in stability, the warehouse storage rack should not be too high, and usually should be controlled within 10m, and in order to strengthen the stability of the whole warehouse racking system, in addition to larger specifications, type selection, but also need to add a tensile fixation device. The cargo in a single pallet should not be too large or heavy, usually within 1500kg, and the pallet span should not be larger than 1.5m. Forklifts are usually equipped with forward battery forklifts or balanced heavy battery forklifts. More used in dairy, beverage, and other food industries, cold storage is also more common.
